2016 Lets Continue

JDMinG Update 2016.

Its been 2 years since i updated my blog. A lot has happened over the 2 years. But i would like to pick up where i left off.

So my last post logged was about me changing over my regular Version R spoiler blade to a carbon fiber version. Lets recap.

If i could, i would carbon fiber my FTO lol.

This day was very productive, I'm normally not the one to get my hands dirty, but when it comes to my FTO, i like to do things myself.

So night falls upon us and there was nothing better to do then to play around with my SLR for some night time shooting.

Enjoy:

did u see the cat?

Carbon Fiber Version-R Spoiler Blade

Carbon Fiber Version-R Spoiler Blade

So what is Carbon Fiber?

Carbon-fiber-reinforced polymercarbon-fiber-reinforced plastic or carbon-fiber reinforced thermoplastic (CFRPCRPCFRTP or often simply carbon fiber, or even carbon), is an extremely strong and light fiber-reinforced polymer which contains carbon fibers.
The binding polymer is often a thermoset resin such as epoxy, but other thermoset or thermoplastic polymers, such as polyestervinyl ester ornylon, are sometimes used. The composite may contain other fibers, such as aramid e.g. Kevlar, Twaron, aluminium, or glass fibers, as well as carbon fiber. The properties of the final CFRP product can also be affected by the type of additives introduced to the binding matrix (the resin). The most frequent additive is silica, but other additives such as rubber and carbon nanotubes can be used. (Source:Wikipedia)

After the FTO respray and gathering all my parts, it was time to get dead serious...Im a fanatic for carbon fiber. Its just one of the best materials ever made.

Spoiler off:

Carbon Blade:

The nicer side of Manchester

All good things must come to an end. So the trip was great, but a quick stop by Manchester was in order...my gf showed me around and took me to the nicer part of Manchester, where of course was a necessary action to whip out the DSLR :D

Long long post over due o_O + Trip to Telford Iron Bridge

I can't believe its been so long since i've had a chance to update Kuro's blog. I shall pick up where i left off.

I remember like it was yesterday, driving out at night in the FTO, air is nice and cold, foot down on the pedal on the open road. The feeling is awesome.

JDMinG update:

Eventually the car needs to be serviced to make sure things are running a ok :D

Special day for me, gf and my FTO. A lovely weekend trip at Telford to see the IronBridge and its history, very nice drive and views and a first time for me to take loads of various shots of Kuro.
